06-19-2019 | 11:30 PM | MASSAPEQUA,NY — On Wednesday June 19, 2019 at 11:30 p.m., North Massapequa Fire Department responded to a fully involved house fire at 12 Garden Avenue in Massapeuqa, New York. When firefighters arrive they found a two story single family home fully engulfed in flames. Flames lit up the night sky reaching 20 feet or greater. Mutual aid was immediately requested from nine neighboring fire departments. Sources say the flames were so intense it caught high tension wires on fire which caused the fire to spread to a neighboring home. North Massapequa Fire Department upgraded the fire to a 2nd alarm fire response at 11:57p.m. No injuries were reported. A cat in home did reportedly perish. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

05-06-2019 | PATERSON,NJ —  Multiple businesses were destroyed and many people were left homeless early Monday morning in Paterson, New Jersey, A fire broke out at a building at River Street & Straight Street after midnight. Flames lit up the night sky over the Passaic River. Firefighters from numerous agencies battled the fire which reached 5 alarms.

04-12-2019 | 11:15 PM | CHARLOTTE,NC — At 11:15pm Friday night Charlotte Fire Department was alerted to a reported house fire at 10642 Bryony Ct. Multiple 911 calls said a house was on fire and flames were coming from the roof of the 1 story home. Three friends driving home from dinner noticed the flames and heavy smoke and dialed 911 while following the smoke. The three friends arrived and saw the entire right side of the house on fire. As one friend banged on the door to alert anyone inside of the fire, a second friend entered the rear of the home through an open door with heavy flames and smoke. He yelled to anyone who still may have been inside the home. The three friends than helped the man safely out of the burning home as Charlotte Fire Department arrived on scene. Firefighters worked vigorously to control the fire which had already consumed a good portion of the home. The homeowner’s son said his father was asleep at the time of the fire with clothing running in the dryer. The son said he father normally falls asleep in a chair in the rear of home. 23 Firefighters controlled the fire within 30 minutes with no injuries reported. The The Fire Investigation Task Force is investigating the cause of the fire.
